Crystal Whites

Crystal Whites are an alternative/indie rock band who, despite consisting mainly of members aged only seventeen, have already established their own solid, unique sound. The vocals are wonderfully similar to those of The Libertines (minus the drug and alcohol induced slurring) and the guitar riffs successfully resurrect those heard in early Kings of Leon and Strokes' material.

'Oscar' is a catchy track with an essence of Bombay Bicycle Club in its guitar playing, yet is 'young Pete Doherty-esque' in its vocals. The track is well arranged with a neat, punchy chorus'.  'One Night To Remember' is considerably slower, and beautifully touching. The chorus is reminiscent of Radiohead's iconically poignant sound. You're lulled into a pleasant trance until the last minute or so of the song, when the band erupt into a brilliantly sticky combination of guitar riffs and drumming.

Crystal Whites are small group with a big sound, and have the potential to be something incredible. You can listen to these two great tracks and more here.
