'Heal' - THE CHILD OF LOV

'Heal' is the first single from THE CHILD OF LOV, a mysterious songwriter/producer who is, in his own words, 'an intergalactic R&B, spacehiphop artist'. There is little known about him, however there are some impressive collaborations rumoured to appear on his upcoming LP; DOOM, Thundercat, and even the Damon Albarn.

The song itself oozes funk and hip-hop goodness, TCOL's falsetto vocals only adding to the earthy, soulful feel of the track. 'Heal' sounds a lot like the works of Gnarls Barkley, only better. The splendidly fuzzy bassline was kindly provided by Damon Albarn himself, making the already-extremely-cool song even more extremely-cool. 
For a first offering, 'Heal' is extremely promising, and I can only assume the LP will be just as good.
