'Who Needs You' - The Orwells

Hailing from Chicago and equipped with music world-famous producer David Sitek, garage rock five-piece The Orwells present 'Who Needs You', a thrashing, bubbling pot of punk energy and feistiness.

The song challenges American patriotism, the pledge of allegiance, and the armed forces in lyrics that are both impressive and gutsy for five guys floating around the age of eighteen.
Frontman Mario Cuomo lands a punch regarding army recruitment: "I said, 'No thank you, dear old Uncle Sam.'" His snarls are accompanied by frenzied, testosterone-fuelled guitar and drums, making for a punchy and shamelessly primitive piece of music.

From this track alone it's clear that anything else created by these unruly Illinois boys will be no less than incredible, and I hope we're proven right very soon.
