'Age' - Lianne La Havas

Lianne La Havas is a folk/soul singer from London. She was born to a Greek father and a Jamaican mother, and her style is influenced greatly by the diverse music she grew up listening to. For anyone who hasn't heard her music, she sounds like Corinne Bailey Rae but spicier.

In 'Age', Lianne describes falling for an older man after coming out of an unhappy relationship. As gloomy as it sounds, the song itself is warm and wonderfully cheery.
With "so is it such a problem if he's old? As long as he does whatever he's told" sung silkily over simple chords, Lianne successfully transforms a sad love story into something light and uncomplicatedly lovely.
