Imagine a disco hosted somewhere in space, and that's pretty much 'Faraway'. Formed from the ashes of S.C.U.M., Astral Pattern consists of remaining members Melissa Rigby, Huw Webb and Bradley Baker, and is the lighter, dreamier offspring of the previous band.The synth is heavy and reminiscent of cheesy 80's pop - only it's much cooler this time round. Truthfully, it sounds like one of those weird little ditties from Adventure Time, but this is by no means a bad thing (not in my opinion, anyway. Best cartoon going). Combined with Rigby's angelic vocals, the song is a thing of beauty.
